This cottage is a delight. It is very comfortable and surprisingly large compared to many small cottages. The kitchen was well equipped however unfortunately the dishwasher had broken just before we arrived and of course the owner had not time to get it fixed. The shower was amazing. The location is lovely and tranquil with beautiful views and a nice garden. It is easy access to Barnstable and up to Exmoor or over to Cornwall. We were really sad to leave this lovely holiday cottage.

A lovely welcome with a home made cream tea waiting for us and fresh flowers around the house. A lovely comfortable, clean and well equipped home for a chilled out break. Only 10 minutes from Barnstaple it's a good location, however access from the main road is via a very narrow winding lane which is ok until you meet someone coming the other way as not many passing places. All that said I would definitely recommend this 17th century grade 2 listed cottage as a fantastic escape from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.

Homely, spacious cottage, beautiful location. Our dogs made friends with the two goats in the field next to the garden. They were certainly full of character!

Very quiet and peaceful. Only a 10 minute drive to Barnstaple. There was a power cut one day and the owner was very kind to supply us with tea( they have a gas hob).

We all really enjoyed our stay at West Hurscott cottage. My son loved the lambs and goats. Crows Point is a must for all dog owner's. It was a dogs paradise for our Labrador Sammy. We would like to go back again for another visit.
