Cornwall has been our family holiday location choice for the past 5 years staying at many different places & holiday homes. This is our first year in this area of Camelford. Well Barn is a charming barn lovingly brought to home comfort standard by it's owners. The barn is furnished & fitted with all the necessary fixtures you require from a holiday home. The kitchen & bathroom were very clean & in a good serviceable conditions. The added bonus of a bath is a welcomed feature for our daughter who loves a soak before bed. The double bed provided us with the most comfortable nights sleep ever experienced in a holiday home, this also considering the temperatures we have recently being experiencing. Our 6 year old enjoyed her stay in the bunk bed & loved the viewing steps to the roof, dorma window. The local village of Camelford hosts a variety of local conveniences, restaurants & take-away's with free parking & well equipped play park. The friendly family run butchers, provided us with many locally sourced produce for breakfast & evening meals. The 2 beaches we used during our stay were Trebarwith & Crackington Haven, which both offered a different experience but both very much enjoyed by the whole family. What more could you require. Evening walks down to St. Julitta Chapel, gave us a pleasant end to our evenings before heading back for a family game of monopoly. A highly recommended stay.

If you like a quiet relaxing holiday, then this is the one to have. You do have to travel to the beaches and shops if you need any supplies, as they are not in walking distance. The cottage was clean and tidy. A beautiful garden to sit in and relax. The internet wasn’t the best, but when it was working it was ok.

We have just had 2 weeks of sheer heaven staying at Well Barn. From the very start Nigel made us feel so welcome that we immediately felt at home here. The cottage has been built and fitted out to an extremely high standard and had everything we could have needed. It is so peaceful and quiet here that you can sit out in the evening listening to birdsong and would never know that the A39 is just up the lane. There are a great many wonderful places to visit nearby and if you enjoy walking then this part of Cornwall is definitely for you. I can honestly say that I would recommend staying here to anyone.
