An inspiring collection of properties chosen for their character, luxury and heritage, all graded 4 star and above.

A haven of tranquillity, yet close to local amenities, this property offers stunning views surrounded by 30 acres of nature.

Webbery Manor Estate is a historic Saxon manor listed in the Domesday Book, high in the hills above the Taw and Torridge estuaries. Set in 30 acres of parkland and woods, with grazing sheep, deer, owls, pheasant, birds of prey and other wildlife. On clear, sunny days you can see Exmoor and Lundy Island. Delightful gardens have specimen trees, and rhododendrons, and the walled kitchen gardens have complimentary seasonal produce.
For that touch of elegance Luppincott Chambers is just the place. Sleeping 4 this first floor apartment is sited on the side of an internal light tower. The charming sitting room has period Regency style furniture, and a door leading to a large furnished deck. Extending the full width of the property it has views to Exmoor, ideal for al fresco dining or enjoying your morning coffee.
Snuggle down in the luxurious double bedroom with its brass bedstead. When you are feeling refreshed, why not give the shared tennis court a go? If you can bear to tear yourself away from the estate, the sea is never far away. With long sandy beaches at Instow, Woolacombe and Saunton all easily reached. Bideford is excellent for a day out, with its working quays and heritage museum.

Wing of the Coach House. Shared central entrance hall with slate floor. Stairs to first floor. Sitting room with period furnishings and door to large furnished deck extending full width of property and with views to Exmoor. Large well-equipped kitchen/dining room with electric range cooker. The nice thing about this holiday was its peace and remoteness. It was great to have a whole garden of fruit and veg available for us to pick whenever we needed to. The grounds and gardens were very attractive and ideal for a stroll in the evenings. Kate greeted us and said she was available if we needed her. In fact we bumped into her several times whilst she was mowing the grass or preparing rooms for other guests. She was very friendly and cheerful and obviously loved the estate. We hope we will be able to go back again in the not too distant future.

We loved it. What a great place to stay, and what a friendly welcome! Pick your own veg from the garden was an unexpected delight! Loads of style and modern convenience as expected...but just one thing to point out...the sofa in the lounge looked ok, but it is old and uncomfortable. The 2 other single chairs are also a bit too 'sit-up-straight' for a whole evening, so took some shine off the stay.

The Webbery is a wonderful estate with several properties which are let out to visitors. The owners are exceptionally welcoming and we had a thoroughly restful and enjoyable time on this lovely site. Luppincott has two bedrooms, which sleep up to 4 people and we got such deep sleep, it has been extremely beneficial. Close to RHS Rosemoor and Marwood Hill gardens (both 15-20 minutes' drive) and only 30 mins ish from the magnificent Woolacombe Beach. There is no pub or shop within walking distance, but the Hunter's Inn at Newton Tracey is only a few minutes' drive away. We shall definitely be going again...
