Welcome pack (Wine, Bread, Milk, Tea, Coffee) gets you off to a flying start - as does the succinct guide on how things work in the cottage and the things to do in the area (including dog friendly restaurants, beaches, and NT gardens). Don't worry about the narrow road - it really is no problem!!! The locals are very very friendly ..... especially the staff at the Victoria Road Sorting Office, the Post Office, Jen-Bar Garage (we had a problem with our tyres) , Fish 'n' Fry, Bob's Burger Bar (the Kebabs are great), and The Ship Inn. We had a Car Boot sale right outside the cottage and most shops etc. were in walking distance. The crashing waves along the seafront were awesome!!

Lovely cottage, but unfortunately very noisy due to renovation work next door. Couldn't enjoy garden due to noise and dust from electric sander and saw builders had set up in next doors garden. Also their vans parked at the bottom of garden spoiling view of park. On our previous visit loved having coffee outside but didn't feel we could this time, builders very polite but intrusive. Would have chosen a different week had we known about building work next door, as this spoilt our holiday.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; 'Thank you for choosing to stay at Watchkeepers Cottage. I am so sorry to hear that your holiday was spoilt by the building work next door. We were unfortunately unaware that any work was being carried out. If we had known we would have contacted Cottages.com to let them know that this might cause problems for our guests. I have just contacted our neighbour to ask for more information so we can manage expectations for our next guests. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we do hope you will consider coming back in the future.

We had a fantastic time, the cottage has everything you would ever need and is located in a beautiful seaside village. For those who like to cater for themselves the local butcher and greengrocer a must fantastic,or the ship if you want to eat out absolutely amazing beer garden overlooks the sea on a loveley sunny day you could be anywhere in the world. The beach is great for dogs and the village is very dog friendly.

We had a lovely time. Although parking is a reported problem, we found it fine. There wasn't anything we could complain about or criticise. We will definitely try to book again for nest year. As we celebrated our wedding anniversary it was a special time. Villagers friendly.

There wasn't anything I could fault with this cottage. Cosy welcoming, immaculate and a lovely welcome package. I love mundesley. People so friendly and very dog friendly. Maybe in high season parking maybe a bit more challenging. Would I come back to this cottage-without a doubt
