A very comfortable, well-equipped cottage, especially the kitchen. Well positioned for large area of North Yorkshire; we enjoyed staying there, with a great deal to see and do. Lovely area. A few small minus points, cobwebs obvious in parts, some of cottage information out of date, including on recycling and number of bins was inadequate for size of household (trip to recycling in Malton). Chairs peeling. Otherwise, spacious and comfortable. Note that care needs to be taken on entrance/exit to main road because of proximity of brow of the hill.

Problem with the tv in the lounge, could not get it to work. Too complicated and out of date. Could be simplified and clearer in operations. Difficulty in contacting the owner for entry instructions, caused unwanted stress.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location. Easy access to surrounding towns and villages. The cottage is extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen! We had a lovely week and would definitely go back to Wandale barn.
