A lovely location - apparently far from the madding crowd - but, in fact, only a few miles (4 or 5) along winding Cornwall lanes from A30 and a few minutes more onto Bodmin and a large range of shops including supermarkets. Wallhouse Barn is simple and yet comfortable and welcoming. It has all the necessary equipment and facilities but is not grandiose or overblown! Very quiet and very peaceful with fantastic dark skies at night - perfect for any budding astronomers! Hosts/owners are warm, welcoming and friendly and yet give their visitors total privacy.

On arrival to Wallhouse Barn it completely lived up to our expectations. The welcome from Alison was lovely, gave us plenty of local information and then left us to it but was on hand if needed. Always a warm welcome from Nut, Rivet n Bolt (friendly farm dogs) Beautiful sunsets at night and a great area to explore. Everything we needed for a cosy and relaxing week away. Ideally situated near the A30 giving perfect opportunity to visit all areas of Cornwall. Would highly recommend and most definitely stay again. Thanks for a great stay to Alison and Jake from the Wilson’s
