The owners were welcoming and helpful. Problems pointed out on take over were not resolved during the stay (en suite shower light and fan)The views from the cottage were nice, however, the abundance of security lights and orange flood lights at night disturbed sleep. The web site said NO pets , it was evident that dogs Etc. had been in the property. I suffer from an allergy to pet fur, and suffered throughout the week. There was even a comment in the visitors book about dog biscuits! Please do not offer a no pet property when clearly it is, we would not have booked it. There were lots of things that were going to be ‘sorted out’ but should have been done before our arrival. We still had a good time.

Really enjoyed our stay there ... plenty of wildlife to watch - peaceful and quiet. Handy for taking the bus into Hull .... Nice villages surrounding the area and Withernsea is a very pleasant seaside town. The Camerton pub was within a half mile which was handy.

Enjoyed the visit very much the owners/family were most helpful when needed will certainly return. Hull is a very interesting city to visit and easy to get to as the cottage is on a bus route.

Fabulous time celebrating our friends 50th birthday. Paul the owner was so kind and friendly and we loved the loved lodge the photos don't give you the full benefits of how lovely it is. A real gem!

Lovely cottage for a short break with plenty of space. Owner was brilliant and happy to help with any issues. Hot tub was added bonus, which was checked on a regular basis. Great views and lots of wild life. We felt very safe with three gates. Only slight criticism would be that it was not as clean as expected with some cobwebs, dust in places and a few of the dishes in the kitchen cabinets were still dirty from previous guests and a few ants in the kitchen (which is to be expected in the country side). This did not spoil our enjoyment though! One of the toilets did not flush properly but this was fixed towards the end of the week. Happy to recommend this cottage to anyone.

What a wonderful peaceful location and the cottage was absolutely outstanding. Extremely well equipped and lovely and clean. Had a lovely welcome from the owners and they even managed to find us some jump leads for a faulty car battery on departure day! Nothing was too much trouble.

Whilst we was only looking for a cottage with a hot tub for our recent Christmas getogether, I feel it wasn’t really value for money. Not once did the owners contact me in preparation for the visit unlike other cottages I’ve used before. They did leave us in complete privacy which was good. The fact there was a dishwasher seemed really good but you had to provide your own tablets, not even one for comfort. The bathroom had cracks in the ceiling and the shower was either really hot or cold. The taps leaked as well and they really need to update the tv. Wouldn’t really visit again to be honest. The fact you had to buy wood to use the stove as wel was a bit disappointing.
