Lovely owners, lovely cottage, very cozy like a home from home, just 10-15 min walk from the town, great location with walks through Bishop's woods,up the mountain with a viewing point over Prestatyn & Dyserth, there is a waterfall opposite the New Inn pub in Dyserth which does great food as does the Red Lion in Meliden, Prestatyn where My wife & I had our wedding reception 2 years ago.

A lovely cottage really close to Prestatyn town. The cottage was clean and tidy and a great size for 2 adults and a toddler. The local area was great for some hilly runs and the views from the cottage were gorgeous! It could have done with a little more cooking equipment but apart from that a great place for exploring North Wales.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, very well kept and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Ruth and John were very welcoming and always on hand if you needed to ask for any advice or tips on where to go. The sunsets from the patio of the property were absolutely stunning. The garden was lovely and secure for our dog to run around in which he made the Most of. As other reviewers have stated the parking is across the road in a lay-by which after reading this left me with reservations however on arrival the lay-by is on a no through road, is gravelled and there is enough room for 3 cars to park. We never had an issue in getting a space. The only time the parking bothered us was on arrival and departure day it was a bit of an inconvenience. Prestatyn itself has quite a few pubs but very few of them allow dogs inside. This wasn’t an issue for us but may just require a bit of research before going. We found pubs a little bit further out of town that were dog friendly . The only other thing I would highlight is the write up on the website states there are 3 steps down to the garden. This is somewhat misleading as in addition to the three steps which you have to use to enter and leave the property there is are also two slopes one of which is quite steep. I booked this property as my husband has mobility issues and whilst the access was ok if he paced himself it would be extremely difficult for a wheelchair user not to mention the person who was pushing the wheelchair (assuming it was a manual one).

A lovely cottage in a beautiful place. The views were outstanding. Not too far from places to go, but the cottage was situated such that it made you feel you were miles from anywhere. So peaceful & tranquil. The cottage was like home from home and had everything you needed. The owners were lovely people and even though their house was situated next to the cottage you didn't know they were there. Would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely cottage. If like us you have a hectic work life, this place certainly helps to de-stress and restore your equilibrium . We had a lovely week and our dog certainly enjoyed her walks up the hill.
