Slightly further afield within a 10-minute drive is the large town of Street, with its outlet shopping centre, perfect for the bargain hunters. Glastonbury can be reached in 20 minutes, with its wonderful mix of eclectic shops as well as wonderful walks, especially up to Glastonbury Tor, where the views are worth the uphill walk! Langport is nearby with the River Parrett giving you water sports as well as walks on the Somerset Levels. Beach 24 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
