The cottage was very clean and tidy. Welcome gifts were a nice touch. Owners live next door. Friendly and helpful. Views across the valley are impressive. Good base to go exploring the area. Some nic pubs by the river, worth the drive (only 10 minutes). Would go back.

The parking was a bit of an issue due to work being carried out on the cottage exterior. Internally the property could do with a bit of a makeover, but generally there was everything that was needed. Stairs could be a problem for someone with limited ability’s, the view was outstanding looking over the seven estuary. Very quiet and peaceful, ideal for walks in the Forest of Dean, some of the attractions have funny opening times, check before travelling. Owner lives next door and was helpful and friendly, local pubs not doing pub meals, would have a job to find any locally.
