The village also boasts cafés, local shops and pubs, and is also convenient for visiting Beaumaris with its Edward I castle or the National Trust property of Plas Newydd, home of the Marquis of Anglesey. In the other direction is Amlwch and Cemaes, with the port of Holyhead and the RSPB reserve at South Stack a short drive. Fishing nearby. Beach 500 yards. Shop and pub 500 yards, restaurant 2 miles.
