Blue Sails (ref JPV) is a traditional Welsh holiday cottage with its own garden enjoying a magnificent setting in an AONB, right on the seashore, with waves sometimes lapping against the patio walls, and glorious views of Puffin Island and Snowdonia. The Beach House (ref OHM) lies in a secluded setting, with direct access to the beach (via a few steps) and panoramic views across the Menai Straits to the Snowdonia mountains. This single-storey Scandinavian-style pine lodge is set to the right of Blue Sails. It has a large garden and visitors may enjoy sightings of many species of seabirds, porpoises and even the occasional seal.
Beaumaris (2 miles), a World Heritage Site, is Anglesey’s most attractive town; it has a castle, boat trips to Puffin Island, water sports facilities, shops, restaurants and an excellent inn, Ye Olde Bull’s Head (Good Food Guide and Egon Ronay’s Guide) is only yards from Beaumaris Castle. Bangor 8 miles. Beach 1 mile.
