This 'cottage' is almost unrecognisable from the photos which must be several years old, the ivy on front wall is nearly to the top, garden was overgrown with brambles across the entrance and dog faeces on the grass, rear garden also overgrown with rubbish and broken glass on the lawn. Interior was dirty and damp, particularly in the hall, no door mats in entrances, kitchen surfaces and utensils were dirty, cooker does not have any display or temperature guide around controls, no exterior lights or lights inside entrances were working, several other lights not working, no coat hooks, no towel rail in kitchen or w.c., extractors in bathroom and w.c. not working, bathroom window would not close and that is just some of the problems. Do not book this place on the strength of the photos as it looks totally different now.

We stayed in this house three years ago and it was superb but the standard has really gone down. The garden was totally overgrown, bins were full and hadn't been emptied. Drains were very gurgly and smelly. Bath panel was all cracked. The games room hadn't been cleaned, everywhere was a total mess really, very disappointed.

The house was spotless and very spacious as there was 7 of us. Only downside was a curtain pole fell off the wall and hit my daughter. Would recommend putting an ironing board in the house and also instruction on how to use cooker as there was no temperature shown on cooker knobs. Fridge and freezer where turned off when we got there so fridge smelt quite bad.

Our second visit here.Took the dogs for a holiday by the sea.The house has had a bit of a facelift inside since our last visit, looking very nice. I think outside should have some attention now ,as the outside furniture is very tatty. The kitchen equipment could also do with an up grade as well. On the whole we really enjoyed our time and love the house because of its generous sized rooms, plenty of space. Well equipped for children with games etc, although we had none with us,it is an excellent family retreat. Great location, minutes to the sea and all amenities of Sutton. No doubt we will be back.

This is very spacious accommodation which smelt clan as soon as yu walked in and certainly was clean. Rubbish bins were overflowing but this was rectified within an hour of reporting it. Location is very close to the beach and local butcher and baker very close (and recommended). Hotel across the road good for Sunday carvery.
