In a setting of stunning natural beauty in the Exmoor National Park, with an indoor heated swimming pool, Triscombe Farm Country Cottages are a combination of 19th-century cottages and skillful conversions from existing farm buildings. Leisure facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool and all cottages have a selection of games on the property. Natural water is provided from our spring. With unspoiled countryside all around, and reached by a long, sweeping driveway, the country cottages are nestling in a sheltered, wooded valley overlooking the River Quarme. Each of the cottages has been individually styled and equipped to offer comfortable holiday accommodation and are all located at the heart of the farm (wellies advisable during wet weather).
The cottages make the perfect base for holidays at any time of the year. A stream cascades through the hillside garden, there is ample space in which to sit and relax or enjoy a family picnic or barbecue. Spectacular views across the valley to Dunkery Beacon unfold as you wander around. Badgers, buzzards, foxes, red deer, and an abundance of birdlife can often be seen, so don’t forget your binoculars. Bracken Cottage ref: B5817, Juniper ref: 28060 and Primrose Cottage ref: 30027 are ground floor cottages, Rose Cottage ref: B5810 is believed to be the original farmhouse, and Whortleberry Cottage ref: 29890 a skillful conversion has a large living room, ideal for family get-togethers, Coachman’s Cottage ref: B5813 is a spacious original cottage and Garden Cottage ref: B5812 and Orchard Cottage ref: B5811 once polo pony stables with flats above are ‘upside down’ cottages with farmland views. Stream Cottage ref: 27550 is the original farm manager’s cottage. We have a policy of continually improving our cottages. The furnishings therefore may vary from those shown in the photographs.

You can enjoy fantastic coastal walks here along the cliff-top coastal path, with dramatic views of the coastline and out to sea.
