Cosy cottage well situated for getting around the North part of Cornwall. Lovely rural situation for relaxing away from it all. Adjoins owners property who gave us a very warm welcome with a cream tea. Property would benefit from adequate draught exclusion provision as we were there when Storm Gareth hit and the stable doors were not adequately insulated although in summer are no doubt a delightful feature! The owners thankfully had kindly provided an additional heater but the property took a long time to warm up! The kitchen diner is small which was fine for us being 2 adults but would be a squeeze for 4. We found everything we needed was provided.

My partner & I have travelled far & wide over the last 12 years & have stayed in literally dozens of self catering accommodations. I would highly recommend Trekeive Cottage ( which I already have done on several occasions ). The owners are very friendly, very thoughtful & genuinely lovely. The cottage is in a perfect location if you want to get away from the outside world. The cottage has absolutely everything that you could possibly want or need

The perfect retreat, getting away from it all in a beautiful scenic environment, a stones throw away from civilisation and on the doorstep shopping amenities a few miles away. I loved the welcome and the homemade scones and cream, a lovely addition after a long drive. My partner and I will definitely be going back, ideal for walkers and stargazing and those who love peace and quiet. Thank you Jean and Chris for being wonderful hosts, I would recommend this cottage for an idyllic getaway from it all. The pictures just doesn't do it justice.

We absolutely loved the cottage. It was perfect for my husband and I with our two children (ages 9 and 5). It was the most well equipped self catering place we have ever stayed. The area is stunning and we went for some really lovely walks that were long but manageable for the kids. The beds were really comfortable and the cottage was cosy and warm even thoughthe weather was really cold. I would absolutely recommend the cottage and only gave one 9 as there is no pub within walking distance! That said, we will definitely go back.

Trekeive cottage is a delight. If you like to get away from hustle and bustle, this is it. Secluded away down long narrow roads, it’s an idyllic setting, immaculately presented and comprehensively equipped, with comfortable beds and a hot shower whenever you want. Hostess Jean made us most welcome with a complimentary cream tea, the kids had treats on their pillows, and her knowledge of the area was most useful. She really has thought of everything. I heartily recommend this cottage as they can’t come much better than this. Thanks Jean.
