Meadwell is a peaceful, well equipped cottage situated within easy reach of some fabulous coastal walks. We had a wonderful holiday and appreciated very much the many well thought out touches that contributed to a warm and comfortable week. The cottage is clean and tastefully renovated with a pleasing mix of ancient farm building and modern facilities such as underfloor heating in the bathroom - a great bonus following a luxurious wallow in the large bathtub after a long day of cliff walking straight from the door. Many features are incorporated into the overall charm of sturdy thick walls, a large fireplace containing a very efficient wood stove and exposed ancient beams and stones. The only reason we would not return is that we try not to go back to anywhere we have stayed before as there are many places we wish to visit. I would recommend Meadwell to anyone visiting North Cornwall who wants a clean, stunning place to stay.

We had a perfect stay. Maybe the tables can be a little bigger and one extra comfort chair would be nice. But the house and location are very nice! Perfect view and great hospitality. We can recommend this cottage.

Had a wonderful time, excellent location for us as it was away from everything and just what we wanted, might not suit everyone. Very friendly owners. We walked everywhere to avoid using car and went to some very pretty interesting places within few miles. Quaint old building it was like being in Poldark. Stunning views over the sea, short walk away. With very nice pub in the cove serving excellent meals.
