Lovely cottage with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Friendly owner. Cottage in a rural area but in close proximity to some attractions such as Sandscale Haws and Sizergh Castle (National Trust), Coniston and Windermere.

Apart from the trains it was very quiet. A beautiful cottage with lovely surroundings and all sorts of wildlife.

Warm welcome from the owners. Cottage had everything we needed, but wifi was slow & intermittent. Smart Tv's great idea as could us our own Netflix account to watch films. Very peaceful, gave the impression of being remote whilst being near amenities. Short drive away from Windemere, plenty to do in local area. Loved the character of the cottage lots of quirky things to look at.
