For those who would prefer to explore by cycle, the owners can offer a place to lock your bikes away when not in use. All properties have their own allocated parking, sitting-out area and large lawned gardens shared with the owners and their young family. They make ideal touring bases from which to visit the extensive attractions in the area. The location is convenient for road links to the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, Christchurch Harbour, and the coast including Poole and Bournemouth. The cottage was in a good location close to the New Forest and Sandyballs. Fordingbridge was a beautiful little town which was within a 25 minute walk. The cottage itself was warm and comfortable. I had twins with me and they were catered for with cots and high chairs. The bedroom was comfortable and you will have a good sleep. My only criticism is the fact the kitchen was a bit dirty and needed to have a bit of a clean. The bathroom also needs a bit of a refresh as it was a bit dated like the kitchen. Apart from that we had a great time. The host was accommodating and I would come back to stay again.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is that there were more kitchen utensils ie more knives, a potato peeler and a measuring jug, simply because we ate quite a bit in at night.

I only spent a few days here but wish it could have been longer. The owner was very welcoming and has provided everything you need including lots of information about local places to visit. A welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs, butter, jam was most appreciated. There are nice walks from the cottage as well as being an ideal base to explore the wider area. There is a stop for the New Forest hop on hop off bus just a short walk down the road. There is a lovely garden to sit and enjoy the peaceful evenings. I would happily stay here again.

Great cottage, perfect for a couple or small family. My husband and I had a fabulous time with our two year old. It's in an ideal location with plenty to do nearby, my toddler loved the large garden to run around in. Jeremy was very helpful and informative and included a welcome pack of food which was very useful. Would highly recommend :)
