There are great restaurants to eat in, as well as nearby beaches of Readymoney Cove and Lantic Bay to visit. Your apartment is reached by two flights of stone steps and four small flights of stairs once inside so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Catch the ferry over to Bodinnick or explore the ancient harbours of Looe and Polperro, which are steeped in legends of smuggling and wrecking; they have quaint fishermens’ cottages and coastal views. A short distance to the west lies Charlestown, an iconic harbour where time stands still. The home of a magnificent fleet of tall ships, it has been the location for many films and TV series due to its natural authenticity.
