Lovely cottage with everything you could require. Bathroom is a little small for tall people but manageable for a week away. Huge enclosed area for the dog and use of the paddock behind the house.

Fantastic long weekend away. Stayed in many cottages over the years but this was by far the best. Well equipped, very clean and comfortable. We will be returning, thanks to Audrey .

The only thing I would recommend is some local cakes or nibbles that are known to York as a welcome. Apart from that everything was great. And maybe changing the time of checking in and out, 3pm is very late and the day has gone and 10am is too early to leave, especially if people have young kids or animals

Great location, midway to York and the coast. Village is lovely and great for long walks. Cottage is home from home, with a great secure paddock area for kids and dogs. Local pub and tea shop were wonderful. Highly recommended!

A lovely size for 5 adults and a small patch of lawn, fenced in which was great for the dog. Well furnished and a Welcome Pack which was much appreciated.

A fantastic cottage, fully equipped with everything you could ask for, warm and cozy with lovely country views. Lots of wildlife including a barn owl sighted most days. Access to the wolds for walking and central for sightseeing but far enough away from towns to enjoy peace and quiet. No local amenities apart from a pub and tea room but that’s one of the reasons we chose it!
