TWith recently planted native trees around the site, the lodges are designed to have as little impact on their environment and the wildlife as possible. Sit back with a drink or a good book, or choose to explore a little further afield with many great walks right on the doorstep. There are also great pubs and restaurants nearby.
The Shropshire Hills and the Wales/England border are situated a stone’s throw away. It is well positioned for the more adventurous travellers, with trail walking and cycle routes to suit every ability, and the famous Offa’s Dykes path passes only a few steps away. With golf, castles, the beautiful Mid-Wales countryside and the Shropshire Hills all available locally, there are endless amounts of activities to choose from.
Forden is between Welshpool and Montgomery. Montgomery with its medieval street layout, imposing Town Hall, mix of Georgian, Victorian and timber framed buildings it is a place where time seems to stand still. Stroll around the local shops offering gifts and fashion, or there are a few lovely independent cafes serving homemade cakes, a delicatessen and a couple of great restaurants.
