Fantastic barn, everything we needed and moretaking luxury to the next level. The barn was well equipped with everything we needed. Pauline and Clive welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake and a welcome pack. Clive recommended The Black Venus pub. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing and we ate there twice especially as it was dog friendly. There is lots of lovely towns nearby and most places were dog friendly too. The garden was not as secure as we thought and therefore our dog had to remain on his lead at all times. However There is a secure paddock a few feet away which Clive showed us that we could use. Internet was good but no phone signal while in the barn. We did a bit of cooking while staying at The Threshing Barn but there was no extraction fan so we had to open the garden dog and have our dog on the lead. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely go back for another stay.

The Threshing barn is a homely characterful holiday place, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Good sitting area and kitchen dining area, the upstairs bedroom a bit of a tight squeeze for two adults as I bumped my head on the beam a few times, my holiday was with a friend who slept in the bigger bedroom downstairs, we both decided that we didn’t like the open plan bathroom and loo area, the open plan bathroom and beams in the bedroom are both mentioned in the write up so people are warned. The bedding was a bit tired, this is all just a feed back as on the whole it’s a good place and we enjoyed are stay.
