Fine views

Situated on a working farm, this ’upside down’ detached barn backing onto the orchard, with fine views, adjacent to an AONB, is ideal for couples and small families. There is excellent walking from the holiday property and on the Mendip Hills together with great bird watching locally and on the Somerset Levels. The area abounds with places of interest including beautiful Wells and its superb cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Longleat, Glastonbury Tor and the Georgian Heritage City of Bath. Great beaches at Weston-super-Mare. Shop and pub ½ mile.

Excellent location and very friendly and helpful hosts. Basic amenities in cottage, shower cubicle needs attention as does the overall cleanliness. Enjoyable holiday very relaxing.

What can I say, lovely place novel idea bedrooms downstairs, work well, lounge and kitchen very nice and comfortable, centre to most areas Wells,Cheddar and the coast i,e Weston-Super-Mare, we were going to National Trust houses so worked very well for us, lovely friendly people. I must mention the Westbury Inn, great meals and very good beer, landlord and his wife charming friendly people, we had a great stay . M.Little

Great location and very quiet. Lovely barn conversion. Well equipped kitchen. One major negative is how uncomfortable the beds are. Having read reviews took my own toppers but still had to use a spare duvet to soften the hard mattresses.
