Loved it and the location. The only possible changes would be WiFi and and the use of a dinghy - neither expensive considering the rental. The wildlife can be exceptional with Chinese Water Deer and even a stoat doing it's hypnotic dance at dawn......

A comfortable, clean and well equipped property in a very pleasant location. We would use again but only in the summer as heating both inadequate and expensive as not included in the rent.

lovely location but a struggle to keep warm (the weather was very cold that week). We spent a lot extra (nearly £100)as electricity and logs were not included in the price. Electric storage heaters didn't do a very good job. I was also surprised to find no towels provided - nothing on the website made this clear. But in warmer weather this is a lovely, spacious and well-equipped cottage in a fantastic location. Lovely views over the Broad, plenty of birds seen from the cottage.

We have stayed in the Studio before and hope to again. It is secluded on the edge of Hickling Broad, with beautiful views to the West over the Broad. The private dyke is just right for mooring a shallow draft boat - ours is a 15 ft rowing/sailing dinghy but watch out for shoals near the entrance! Boating facilities are handy at Whispering Reeds boatyard, where you can hire a small motor cruiser or a traditional half decked sailing boat. There is a well equipped public slip for small boats near the Pleasure Boat Inn. The Pleasure Boat has meals and wi-fi and there are other good pubs in easy reach by car. Shopping in Stalham is close with a supermarket and a comprehensive range of shops and cafes in the high street but we prefer Ludham for a good butcher and a small convenience store with a huge range of postcards for them at home. The only thing I would add is - please don't all of you book next year or we might not be able to get in! P.S. If you go in Summer take boots -you will be sharing the garden and the dyke with a large flock of geese. Other bird life includes Marsh Harriers, Pheasants and all the usual Broadland population.
