What a marvellous find! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stable and hope to be back soon. The accommodation is excellent, so comfortable and welcoming, the setting is heavenly and the owners are friendly and helpful. Situated in a really useful area, Bristol is so close, as is the Cotswolds, Gloucester, the Midlands, Wales- there is so much to do with the added bonus of knowing you will get a peaceful night sleep in a lovely cottage at the end of every day. As you can tell, we really did love it!!

Rustic charm with flashbacks to bygone excellence, with added modern benefits. Comfy bed - slept better than at home ( just could also 'helped' by fresh air on many local walks)! Saul Junction & The Monk's Kitchen Cafes are both well worth a visit. Full day at Slimbridge Wetlands. OUR 'would we go back test' - passed, (after we have done so many other places on our 'to do' list.
