Just got back on Friday after spending 4 nights at the Shank. Right from making the booking all the way through to the end of the stay everything was just perfect. The owners were prompt with correspondence and ever so helpful and pleasant. Upon arrival, the wine, the beautiful flowers and card that Pippa and Adrian were an addition to the almost immediate feeling of warmth and welcome as soon as we entered the cottage. We knew straight away we would enjoy our stay here. The property is beautiful and very nicely looked after, the site is amazing and the added bonus of the hot tub with a splendid view of the golf course was just the icing on the beautiful cake. It is evident in every detail in the cottage that Pippa and Adrian thought about everything to ensure guests enjoy a pleasant and comfortable stay. I would not only recommend a stay at the Shank for anyone visiting the area... but i would defo return again !!! So guys book up but only after queueing up behind me 
