A lovely location and friendly owners, however the bathrooms were in need of attention and the overall impression of the cottage was that it was a bit shabby. Too many cobwebs and dusty corners - a bit 'tired'. Having said that we enjoyed our stay. The village has a community shop with very helpful staff and the two pubs provide excellent, though very different, menus. A bit of TLC and money spent and this could be a first class venue.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments; We are sorry to hear of your disappointment, as is normal after a busy year the property has been deep cleaned unfortunately some guests like to arrive early and little things get missed ie cobwebs on the beams and behind the heavy furniture but this has been noted thank you as is normal in the New Year decoration has been done, and as planned a new kitchen has been installed and new lounge furniture which has given the cottage a fresh look
