This wonderful holiday property is idyllically situated on the edge of the pretty village of Sidbury, close to the lovely seaside town of Sidmouth, with timeless views across the meadows towards the river and the surrounding hills. The Piglet is an apartment above the owner’s garage in a quiet part of the 10-acre grounds. It is open plan with a spacious bedroom with en-suite shower with underfloor heating and there is a small kitchen area. It is set in a protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a few minutes’ walk to the local pub, village shop and adjacent to the East Devon Way footpath. It is a peaceful holiday retreat in which to relax and unwind whilst also being a great base from which to explore. There is a garden area 100 yards from the property along the banks of the river and small waterfall, ideal for al fresco dining or a glass of wine or two. There are many places to visit in this amazing part of East Devon. The cathedral city of Exeter is less than a half hour drive away. Take a walk along the Jurassic Coastal Path with amazing scenery and towns with plenty of shops and cafés. This is the perfect location for birdwatching, walking, fishing, golf and water sports, and there are many National Trust properties all close by. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both worth a visit. Take a walk on the tors, see the ponies or stop in one of the many charming villages for a traditional Devon cream tea. Beach 2 miles. Supermarket 2 miles. Shop and pub ¼ mile.
