Langham is about half way between Colchester and Ipswich, close to the A12 which gives easy transport links for exploring the local area. The northern boundary of Langham is also the boundary between Essex and Suffolk. The famous Constable Country is 3 miles away with Flatford Mill and Dedham Vale, and historic Colchester is close by, famous for its cobbled streets, castle and zoo, and has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Also within reach are Ipswich, Chelmsford, Orford, Aldeburgh and Felixstowe, or enjoy the beach at Clacton-on-Sea. Opportunities for golf and fishing are available nearby, or travel a bit further afield and you can explore the myriad attractions of London. Shop and pub within 1 mile, restaurant 2 miles.
These properties can be booked together accommodate up to 4 guests.

The cottage was beautiful with every comfort you could ask for and it was lovely to not only have your open private garden, but also to be able to walk in the owners’ garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the welcome hamper was the best we’d ever had especially the scones with clotted cream and jam!

It is a lovely cottage with excellent owners. Very well situated and with some lovely walks in the area. Plus points: wonderful comfy bed, great shower, good heating and hot water, well equipped kitchen, although we mostly ate out, beautiful honey for sale, good wifi. Minus points: didn’t quite realise how small the sitting area was inside, our GSD couldn’t quite stretch out, lovely sunny patio area, which dog can enjoy if it’s dry, with table and chairs, also worth mentioning that the dog has to be on a lead in the 2 1/2 acre garden and charges are £25 for the extra cleaning of lounge and kitchen. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and we would return in the future.
