We had a fabulous holiday at The Old Smithy. The property is even better than the photos! We spent New Years week here and loved it. Our son and his partner came for a few days and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The master bedroom is great, but be wary of the sloping ceilings....we banged our heads a few times....my hubby especially😳🤭. We loved the location, we could walk down 4 doors to go to the pub when we didn’t feel like cooking or pop into the supermarket on our way back from our outings and cook an easy dinner. We walked many different routes from the cottage for our exercise and saw lots of lovely enclaves, villages and scenery. Took the car ferry and visited St Mawes which was gorgeous, also Mevagissey was lovely too. Did another day trip to the southern most part of Cornwall albeit Land’s End was a disappointment but St Ives was lovely. Overall great place to base yourself to explore all of Cornwall. Only negative was everything was turned off and unplugged when we arrived.

What an amazing house with stunning views. Well equipped and very comfortable. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. Excellent dog friendly local pub within 5 minutes walk. It ticked all the boxes for my family.

Beautiful house extremely well equipped, sun trap garden, good position for enjoying local beaches and towns. second double bedroom not as luxurious as the upstairs so you may have to toss a coin!! Had wonderful two weeks and for once the sun shone nearly every day
