This is the second time we have stayed at the Old School House. It is such a lovely cottage and in a very quiet, peaceful location. It is in excellent condition.

Only quibble is parking awkward if you have two cars

The old school house is a romantic hide-away far from the crowds. From the outside a beatiful house, from the inside a comfortable home. The inventory was very good, especially in the kitchen, it has a also great selection of beautiful china. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well designed, the bathroom was perfect. As far as cleanliness was concerned; yes, it was clean, we had (wanted...) to get rid of quite a bunch of spiders though. And the coffeemachine was very dirty, not usable. The dryer was full which made it more difficult to make use of. They should have mentioned in the advert that this house is located on a roundabout. Well, okay not really a roundabout, it's actually triangle, but on all sides the house is surrounded (as in within 1 to 5 meters) by roads, luckily they are not used frequently though so in the end we were okay with it, but this is something you should mention in a home desciption. Unfortunately the WiFi was not so good, especially in the evenings it seemed. And the light in the eating room above the table brings hardly no light at all (and hangs too low by the way). I hope these small things can be taken care of... All in all, we could recommend this home, with it's cosy and quintessentially British interior and it's beautiful surroundings.

Clean and well equipped cottage, easy access via key safe on day of arrival. Deceptively spacious inside. Plentiful hot water and a well functioning shower! Great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Only slight negative would be limited parking if your party has more than one car (just about squeezed 2 onto the drive - one small hatchback, one larger SUV) and the property is right in the road which seems to be a bit of "rat run" in the morning. But overall a lovely cottage.

Thanks. Being from a big city like London, its great that you can just get away from all the hustle and bustle and relax in this lovely clean cottage. There, s nothing in this village apart from other beautiful cottages, lovely views and nice walks. It,s made me and the wife want to leave London and live in the countryside. Had a nice time... Doing nothing and going on walks. Real nice place and close to Bourton on water Upper slaughter Lower slaughter Places you definitely have to visit in the Cotswolds. Thanks old school house. I didn't like it, I loved it.
