Wonderful holiday with friend's and our dog, wonderful location with local pub 15 minute walk, Battle 10 minute drive, best of both worlds with enough countryside for piece and quiet but a but and town near enough. Would highly recommend, host Mark was great and always happy to help. We will be back this summer.

Wow what a great little find, we had a wonderful couple of nights in the ever so clean Old Parlour, it had everything we needed, much more spacious than we expected, great beds and showers and the welcome pack was a lovely touch and much more than most places, milk, bread, butter etc, and wine and fire logs. Mark the host was very welcoming, and our kids and puppy loved the field next to The Old Parlour. Close enough to use as a base for walks especially with just a short drive to Brede Forest and Camber Sands and Rye. We would definitely recommend The Old Parlour.

We really enjoyed a weekend getaway at the cottage. It was a bit further away from the local amenities than we thought but the property itself was nice and the owners really think about their guests as we had some nice things to welcome us and plenty of staples available for cooking.

Truely excellent.Spotlessly clean. Cosy and warm, we arrived late and were overwhelmed by a lit fireplace, an extremely generous welcome basket (that even provided the basics for next morning's breakfast!) and a bottle of wine. What else could you wish for?Lovely to watch were the wildlife around, tiny little rabbits and lots of birds and the neighbour, who is a sheep farmer let us get friends with "Shaun" and his bunch. Overall great and warmly recommended.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your review. We are pleased you found a lit log burner a welcome sight after a long journey and glad you enjoyed the wild life as spring is finally here.
