Immaculate holiday retreat. Perfect out of the way location. We so enjoyed our week and our little dog is now on first name terms with the sheep. We also all enjoyed meals at the Royal Oak. Hoping to return again one day.

Truely excellent.Spotlessly clean. Cosy and warm, we arrived late and were overwhelmed by a lit fireplace, an extremely generous welcome basket (that even provided the basics for next morning's breakfast!) and a bottle of wine. What else could you wish for?Lovely to watch were the wildlife around, tiny little rabbits and lots of birds and the neighbour, who is a sheep farmer let us get friends with "Shaun" and his bunch. Overall great and warmly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay here. The property is well-equipped and very comfortable. Great location on a quiet track. Barely a car in sight. So peaceful and lovely scenery. Thanks too for the generous welcome hamper and impromptu roadside rescue from the owners when we ran into some car trouble! We will visit again for sure.
