This former coaching house is presented to a very good standard and is situated in the centre of St Austell with easy access to all public transport including the railway station. This is an ideal holiday location for visiting the Eden Project, 4 miles, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 6 miles. There are numerous sandy beaches and coves to choose from and wonderful coastal walks. The historic harbour of Charlestown and picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey are just a short drive. Shops and pubs 200 yards.

    The Old Coach House was immaculately presented and spotless. On our arrival there was a basket of essentials so we could have a cup of tea before venturing out. It is ideally placed for the train station/bus station which are both together and only a few minutes walk away from our accommodation. An ideal location for exploring more of beautiful Cornwall with many other villages within an easy distance.

    Need the internet to be working, managed to log on twice for short periods, could not get on if owner was logged on, he said you will have to come up to their house if we couldn't get logged on, if they were in ! You should not advertise with WFI if you cannot get it, this is against trade descriptions act. All amenities in St Austell are close as you are in the centre of the town, but entrance road is an unmade dirt track and needs work doing on it before someone has an accident !

    A perfect little base for a holiday in Cornwall, if like us, it doesn’t need to be directly overlooking the beach. Close to the sea, wonderful coastal walks, bike trails and local attractions like the Eden Project, Charlestown and the lost gardens of Heligan. We had a wonderful time. The cottage has everything you need. Parking space right outside a gated drive, so very safe and secure. Yes, you do need to go up a potholed lane, but it’s perfectly doable and worth it. The owner Ian was lovely and helpful. The property is spacious and light. Just one tiny gripe. The internet was patchy, so if this is really important for you it may be an issue. Ian did try really hard to improve it, but was unsuccessful. Thank you Ian we loved our week at your property!!

    Airy, spacious, pleasant, convenient accommodation, with a lovely painted window! We were warmly welcomed and a basket of useful goodies was provided. One of the great benefits for us, was the convenience of having the rail /bus interchange just round the corner and we made full use of the public transport. Highly recommended.

    Fantastic place to stay 5 minutes to bus and train station really nice owners the accomadation was amazing very comfortable bed it has everything I would give it a 100 out of ten and would use again

    The coach house was lovely very comfortable and the welcome pack was very thoughtful thank you, every thing we needed for our stay was there we had no complaints at all we would recommend this holiday let to anyone.

    Very well presented property that was spotless and well maintained. The proprietor was a superb host and very accommodating with our arrival time. Really nice welcome pack, which would have kept us afloat for any essentials we would have forgotten to pack and good local amenities, with pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Pleasantly surprised with the location of the local train station on the doorstep, because we couldn't hear any noise from the track and despite not normally travelling by public transport we used this to travel to local destinations and found it superb value for money. Located in own grounds at the bottom of the owners property, but totally private and self sufficient. Access to the private gated entrance is by small lane approximately 30 metres long. It does have pot holes but if you take your time there isn't a problem, which more than compensates for having private gated off road parking. We had a really nice winter break here and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends.

    Very spacious and spotlessly clean. The building is at the foot of the owners property but feels very private. The access road is a single track alley road between the rear of each row of houses and is extremely pot holed. There is little opportunity and space to maneuver your car in and out of the access / parking area of the Coach House but the parking area itself is well maintained. You also have large gates that you can use to lock your car in and aide privacy. There is underfloor heating downstairs in the seating area but this does not extend to upstairs which can get very cold. The owner supplies a plug in heater and electric blanket for ur comfort. The mattress was very comfortable with a deep mattress topper. The hob is a ceramic hob which may take getting used to. All areas of the home were very spacious and really nicely finished. The owner met us, showed us around the home and had left a welcome basket of bread milk biscuits tea and coffee spread and a bottle of wine. The WiFi is not reliable and we ended up using an alternative supply than that provided. The train station is literally 5 mins away and really very useful, with the centre of town 10 mins away.
