We like staying in unusual quaint properties and this was one of them. It was very well equipped except for an electric razor/toothbrush plug-in point. We used the property as a base for exploring various places in County Durham e.g. Raby Castle, Bishop Auckland, Barnard Castle, High Force waterfall, and Durham. The only minor niggles for us were that the bed mattress was too soft and the pillows too thick and hard. However, everything else was fine, especially the WiFi reception and the Freeview TV.

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location. Comfy and fully equipped. Janice is extremely hospitable and left us welcoming items. Would definitely return.
