The Metro Centre, Beamish and Lake District are an hour away. Visit interesting Leyburn village and The Forbidden Corner near Middleham. Fishing, golf and riding locally.     Really relaxing and comfortable cottage,good walking and scenery on your doorstep. Need transport for shops and pub,but if feeling energetic you can walk. Janet and Rob were very welcoming

    A beautiful little cottage, with walks radiating from the door. Ideal dog friendly area with nice places to eat within a couple of miles.

    Lovely cottage and owners, set in beautiful surroundings and the sun shone for 7 days what more do you want? The cottage got everything you want and even WiFi even though the owner doesn't advertise it cus its slow Faster enough for us to use face time and the net with else , what more do you want after all your on holiday! If you book this place you want disappoined (Private joke with own, i hope you sort out those country lane street lights )

    Property is well located for a quiet break. Friendly owner checked to see that we settled in ok and that we had everything required and even provided a torch. Would definitely stay here again.
