There are walks and cycling trails from the doorstep and being situated within the Yorkshire Nature Triangle, where there are numerous wildlife reserves, this is a perfect place for enjoying the diverse range of fascinating animals, birds and plants found in this area. A convenient selection of shops, pubs and restaurants can be found in Nafferton and the market town of Driffield is just 5 miles away. Visit stately homes at Burton Agnes, Burton Constable and Sewerby Hall, historic Beverley, 19 miles, with its minster and renowned racecourse and enjoy miles of sandy beaches at the seaside resorts of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. Within an hour’s drive lie Hull with The Deep Aquarium and the ancient city of York with its famous sights, museums and art galleries. The owner has an art studio, where guests are welcome to join the classes during their stay. There is also a local dog and cat kennels with day care service within 1½ miles of the property. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

    A lovely little cottage in a lovely quiet location. It was home from home and equipped with everything you need even things for the dog. Margaret was very warm and welcoming.
