We were very lucky with great weather. We went in February so holiday parks were not open which meant it was quiet in woolacombe. The shops cater for surfers a great deal. There are some beautiful views from the coastal walks and dogs are allowed on the beach and in many pubs and shops. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. It's tucked round the corner so no sea view, but just a couple of minutes walk to the sea front.

As you first pull up to the property it does not look that promising but once inside the property is nicely presented and the location is excellent. The only criticism that I would have is that several of the doors did not shut very well and the bathroom needed a very firm slam. A bit of time refitting the doors would improve things . Easy access to the town and beach so could not fault the location.

A fantastic place to stay. So close to the beach, shops, yummy places to eat and drink. I really recommend it for a small family who want to be out and about enjoying the fun the local area has to offer. Clean and easy parking. Fabulous.

The nook is a 2 bedroom, pet friendly, modern ground floor flat in the centre of town. It is close to the beach yet it is surprising quiet as it is not right on the main street. We did have the bathroom florescant light blow whilst we were there, and the owners were excellent in their communication and replaced it the next day as the tube wasn't available from the local shops. The other flat residents were also very friendly. Had a good holiday as the weather was great. Would stay there again, but not in season as I expect the town gets very busy in the height of summer. The surf was good so bring a wetsuit.
