A fantastic cottage with a massive open plan lounge, diner and kitchen that provides a home away from home. The location is stunning with the river running a few feet from the cottage reminding you constantly that you're in the countryside whilst only 10 minutes from Penrith and all the amenities you need

Great stay, Wi-Fi is a bit temperamental. But perfect for a quiet weekend away. Two pubs in walking distance and a shop/cafe, all dog friendly. Barn is lovely and cosy in a tranquil setting, owners very nice and helpful.

We stayed for a week in this perfect cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and very much home from home. The owners were very helpful, living next door. Although the cottage does not have a washing machine of its own, our washing was returned perfectly washed, dried and folded, five star service. We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay. If 24/7 internet or phone coverage is required this may not be the cottage for you. For us it was lovely to get away from constant connection. We enjoyed many a morning coffee at the village shop too. Chatting with the locals who are so friendly. The village shop is well stocked too. We travelled with our dog. He had a great time. The cottage is in a beautiful setting and we look forward to a return visit soon.
