A spacious lodge that is perfect for relaxing. The view from the veranda is beautiful, a fantastic space to sit and enjoy a drink. The enclosed garden is great for the dogs, "The Warden" park area at the end of the lane is a perfect dog walk at the start and end of the day. Hope to go back and eat some more home made cake on arrival.

My wife and I spent a wonderful 3 nights at The Lodge. Our hosts were most welcoming, the accommodation was spacious, and very well equipped. The views from the property are spectacular, and to watch the early morning mist in the valley, from the property-length verandah was a joy. The fact that there were three friendly dogs, at least three horses, a cockerel, several hens, a squirrel, and several rabbits on the property, made the time spent watching them very relaxing. The property has a lovely secluded setting, which makes for a most relaxing stay. Presteigne itself we found to be a small, interesting and very friendly town to visit for our food supplies. We highly recommend the Lodge.

We had a lovely weeks stay at The Lodge. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet , amazing views and the company of chickens and horses for the week. The Lodge was a really comfortable and clean space to stay and ideal accommodation with dogs with the private garden to the side.
