Perched on the side of the Brecon Beacons are the four beautiful shepherds huts that make up The Huts In The Hills. Nestled in the woodland clearing at the lower end of a spectacular dwelling next to a babbling brook, these huts offer the peace and seclusion. Walkers and hikers are well catered for with the famous Offa’s Dyke and after a long day of trekking. Hay Bluff rises impressively on one side, and flanked by the Twmpa on the other, waking up in these spacious shepherds huts allows you to really appreciate the vastness of the Brecon Beacons. These huts are handmade using modern-day construction techniques whilst maintaining a traditional look, even down to the dark green paint used for all four huts. These huts are specifically tailored for group bookings and offer three double sleeping huts that are arranged in a semi-circle, with a fourth hut providing high-quality cooking facilities at one end, and a beautiful, eco-friendly bathroom at the other end. A fourth double sleeping hut, powered by a windmill situated on another part of the site, stands on its own across the field, allowing a little privacy for a couple, or to put the kids to bed whilst the adults relax and enjoy the evening. There’s a large fire pit with barbecue facilities for some Welsh lamb steaks for dinner, eaten at the large, family sized, handmade outdoor dinner table, with a canopy to keep the weather at bay during your stay.
