A great break in a beautiful setting quiet and restful apart from the geese and the swans. A small point but I don't remember seeing the internal steps down to the kitchen and additional step down to the bathroom bring mentioned. Not a problem for us but might be important to know for clients with mobility issues

Comfortable cottage and a very good stay on what is a well-used estate with lots of dog-walkers and people using the tea-shop. Two issues, which are raised by previous reviewer, are that the beds have very soft mattresses and lack of lighting over the dining table, but otherwise very good.
