This spacious, first floor apartment located in the centre of Chapel, a desirable town on the edge of the Peak District, close to popular destinations such as Castleton and Buxton. Entering via the private entrance, climb the stairs up and you will first see the stunning view out of the patio doors over the hills. The open plan living space offers a social area for friends or family to enjoy, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you should need. There is a large dining table plus breakfast bar, and the living area has ample comfortable seating and large smart TV. Patio doors lead to a decked area with offering fantastic views over the countryside and is a great sun trap on the right day. Nearby trails like Kinder Scout and Mam Tor provide stunning views. Known as the ‘Shivering Mountain’, Mam Tor is a popular spot for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Castleton is a charming village where you can explore its caves, including the famous Blue John Cavern, visit Peveril Castle, and browse the gift shops and tea rooms. Another nearby town is Buxton, known for its Georgian architecture and the historic Buxton Opera House. The Pavilion Gardens offer a relaxing place to unwind, and the town’s spa heritage is reflected in the natural thermal springs.
