An excellent cottage with all the facilities we needed. We eventually found the local recycling. We would heartily recommend.

Interesting ancient cottage close to the history and splendour of central Gloucester. Though quaint, the bedroom and bathroom facilities were fine, although a shower would have been better. The kitchen and the utensils, however, needed us to do a thorough clean before we could use them, including the fridge, and this was not acceptable for what we were paying. The maintenance of a few things also left something to be desired (e.g. broken bedstead, sticking back door etc.). With a mix of hits and misses we gave an overall middling review, but this could have easily been a 9/10 with some simple care and attention from the owner.

We absolutely loved this place. It has such heart and character, it's beautiful. The garden is wonderful to sit out in , lots of wildlife about. There is the remains of an old priory just across the road. The town is only two minutes away Also it's only half an hour away from the Forest of Dean... or Ross on Wye .. both definately worth a visit. I would highly recommend this place. The cottage itself is like somthing out of Harry Potter or a fairy tale! Lots of things to see or do close by.
