Great location, the grounds are beautiful. The games room an added bonus and lots of fun. The Granary it's self was as quirky as we had hoped and Clive and Sarah are very welcoming hosts...excellent, yes we would stay there again 😁

Comfortable & well equipped Cottage. Somewhat remote from any amenities but peaceful. Well situated for visiting attractions on North & South Coasts.

The Granary is a pretty and comfortable base for a holiday in Cornwall. We weren’t blessed with particularly good weather so the games room (thoughtfully furnished with pool table, table tennis, crabbing equipment, badminton, baseball etc.) was really useful in keeping our children (and the husband!) occupied during wet afternoons. The owners were lovely and welcoming, providing all necessary equipment for our week including thoughtful touches such as oil, teabags, salt and pepper, cleaning materials - even leaving scones, jam, cream and milk ready for our arrival. Some hosts don’t provide anything other than basic cooking equipment so it was a nice touch. They were friendly but unobtrusive during our stay. The location of the cottage itself was lovely; plenty of grounds to walk around and, for guests with children who don’t always want to have to spend ages in the car to find things to do, there are two excellent attractions less than a five minute drive away: Hidden Valley and Trethorne Leisure Park. Despite reading that the place was difficult to find, we followed the written instructions from the owners and found our way -in the dark I might add- with no trouble at all. We would definitely stay again! Oh, and a tip for those who grumble about lack of internet or phone signal - take a dongle!

Great location to explore surrounding area. Owners were lovely and extremely helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this wonderful cottage.
