Less than a mile from Ceibwr Bay and a ten minute stroll from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, lies the Granary, a detached, two bedroomed converted farm building, brimming with character. Situated in the farm yard of Penwern, it offers convenient parking before ascending the original stone steps to the front door and into its first floor living space. Kitchen, lounge, and dining room combined beneath an impressive vaulted beamed ceiling and through its petite windows it offers splendid views of the sparkling blue waters of Cardigan Bay. After a day of coastal adventure, this cosy retreat provides peace and tranquillity within its stone walls while its enclosed, gravelled patio area offers the ideal spot for barbecuing the catch of the day or some of the abundant Pembrokeshire produce available from the local farmers’ markets. The surrounding 10 acres of the owners’ land offers some wonderful coastal views, a chance to explore the flora and fauna of the landscape, as well as plenty of outdoor space and fresh coastal air for exuberant children and pets. If you want a five star cottage with a pub/restaurant on your doorstep, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for a base to travel from, in a beautiful rural setting with the coastal path a ten minute walk away, peace and quiet to read and write, castles and an Iron Age village fifteen minutes drive away and nothing South or West more than an hours drive, this is for you. One of our best holidays, we will be back!

The lovely owners made us feel very welcome and looked after on their authentic farm with splendid views all around and wonderful cliff top walks nearby, so we hardly used the car much. Even in the heatwave there was a bit of a breeze to cool us down.So helpful when we lost our keys in the car park only.#!

Lovely quiet location with views of the sea from the living room. A pretty home and enough space for a couple with 2 children. The only thing I would say is that we had to drive approx 1 and half hours to get to any of the other places but we enjoyed local walks too
