Bedroom over kitchen uncontrollably hot. Sanitaryware desperately in need of replacement. 1 bin bag, 2 toilet rolls no soap in bathrooms very poor compared to other cottage.com properties we have rented. Told of no pool 2 weeks before visit meant no chance of sourcing alternative. Photo shows that no way could the pool have been available. It was our sole reason for choosing thus property.

Wonderful stay for our 50th anniversary with our family. Comfortable old farmhouse with lovely atmosphere and surroundings. Please note: The clue is in the name - farmhouse - not a newly built house in a cul de sac with modern fitment and fittings !!! If you want that sort of thing don't pick an old farmhouse and then tell the owners to put in new kitchen and bathroom etc!!!!!i find that rude! The house is a delightful family house. Particularly enjoyed a private display of birds of prey from lovely neighbour next door who allowed us all to experience feeding and flying the birds, grandchildren loved it. Thank you, we'll come again!

Wi fi would have been better if it was available in more than two of the rooms. Some of the lights didn't work. The neighbours were lovely and their recommendations were good and useful. Gluten free chip shop on Monday. Swimming pool was lovely and the farmhouse while quirky was peaceful and encouraged relaxation. Local bistro pub was definitely worth a visit.

Lovely part of the world if you enjoy British countryside. Great to have access to a (heated) pool and (old) tennis court. Tiresome neighbours and lack of cleanliness in Farmhouse marred what could/should have been an incredible family reunion experience. Fun was had, but stress incurred too. Without the complaining this review would have been significantly better. What's great and awful about Britain in one spot.
