Welcome to The Drift Cottage, nestled in the beautiful moorland of St Breward, Cornwall. This cottage offers the perfect setting for a relaxing Cornish getaway with family or friends. Inside, you’ll find comfortable leather sofas and the added comfort of underfloor heating, making it a welcoming retreat no matter the season.
The cottage features a TV, ensuring you can unwind and enjoy some entertainment after a day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen includes a double oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and washer-dryer, providing everything you need to cook and dine at your leisure.
This cottage can accommodate up to four people. It boasts a large, open-plan lounge and dining area, perfect for relaxing or socializing. The cottage features a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room and a twin bedroom, also with its own ensuite shower room, offering comfort and convenience during your stay.
Activities that Hallagenna and the local area offer include walking, cycling, wildlife and farm animals which roam the moors, horse riding (trails from the cottages), livery facilities for people to bring their horses on holiday, and easy access to our rare breeds farm. The cottages are carbon neutral. During the months May–September, we often turn off the heating as the thermal retention of the building provides a comfortable environment. Should heating specifically be required during these months, we request that guests make a specific request before their arrival.
There is cycle storage on site for guests to use during their stay and parking for one car. Additional parking and bike storage is available by request. We are currently unable to provide charging for electric vehicles. However, there are several electric vehicle rapid chargers located in Bodmin, just 10 miles from Hallagenna Farm.
