Full of character with cobbled streets and historic buildings, Sedbergh is known as The Book Town and offers a treasure trove of second hand and collectors books. Kendal, close by and the Gateway to The Lakes, offers something for everyone. This historic market town is home to an eclectic mix of independent retailers, cosy pubs, international restaurants and pavement cafes.
