A wonderful stay at the cowshed. Bernice couldn’t do enough for us prior to arrival. The cottage is very well equipped, no detail forgotten. We hope to return one day!

Perfect cosy accommodation, the cowshed worked perfectly for 3 adults and 2 children. The property is very well maintained, clean and comfortable, loved the board games that the children found and the nice Christmas touches around the barn. Would love to stay here again

The cowshed is a stunning example of a barn conversion, we had an amazing time and the added benefit of the games room made the holiday. Andy and Bernice the owners are a lovely couple and were very helpful.

We found the cottage to be exquisite - having all the homely things you need (and more) whilst staying away.

Thank you to our hosts who provided exceptional quality accommodation. There were just four in our party ( 2 with limited mobility) but the premises were ideal. The little touches of welcome hamper, local info file, dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid really just adds. The mattresses were fantastic with all four of us enjoying better sleep. The finish is of high quality and the fitments have not been scrimped on at all. The location allowed us to travel around the county easily. The games room being separate actually worked better for us as a party (limiting the oldies to how much they played). You know it's good when the wife wishes to bring our own children here to stay. Awesome!!!

I would endorse the positive comments by other guests. The owners have fitted-out the property with no expense spared, but have not provided comfortable seating for six. The strangely shaped settee was very uncomfortable and low. A conventional suite or three two-seater settees would have made our evenings much more pleasurable.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. We have replaced the settee with a new larger one.

This one of the best cottages I have stayed at, the owners Andy and Bernice were really helpful, as it was very cold the weekend we stayed, but they had put extra heaters in for us even though the underfloor heating was really good, we were very cosy, the cottage is done up to a very high standard so every need was catered for, would definitely recommend.
