The area boasts an abundance of attractions. Stately homes such as Chatsworth House, Kedleston, Haddon and Hardwick Halls are all within easy reach. At Cromford the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site offers a fascinating insight into the region’s industrial past. Plentiful footpaths and trails provide a great choice of routes for walkers and cyclists. Visit nearby Carsington Water for bike hire, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and bird watching.
Wirksworth is a creative, vibrant community where there is always something going on.     Absolutely stunning accommodation with some really lovely touches. So unique and tasteful and the owners were so welcoming and considerate. Definitely plan to go back soon!
