This was a beautiful farm house with plenty of space for our grandson to play. There was the added bonus of being greated every morning by the friendly horse and pony. The owners were lovely and very helpful and left some tasty homemade honey and cookies for us (which were very much appreciated by us all). There is a small Asda in Girvan about 5-10mns away which has most of what you need or a larger Asda store roughly 40 mins away. The lady in the Girvan vistor information shop was extremely welcoming and very helpful. Overall, it was a very welcome break.

Best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Excellent base for a holiday in this area. Cottage had so much space, ideal for a larger group. Very well equipped to cater for all needs. On a working farm, but this did not affect anything we were doing. We were graced with excellent weather for the time of the year, an added bonus

What a brilliant holiday house, in a beautiful, peaceful location. I am on my own with 5 children (3 are autistic) and a dog. The Cottage was the perfect, spacious place for us, and we had beautiful weather too. Waiting for us in the well equipped kitchen was the most amazing homemade shortbread, which disappeared very fast! We actually spent the first 2 days just enjoying the space and garden, it gave us time to adjust and get used to being somewhere different. Our dog was living his best life charging about the massive garden. A walk up the track at the back of the farm gives you the most amazing views of Ailsa Craig also. The Cottage is the ideal base for day trips and there is a lot to do in the wider area. We spent a day at Heads of Ayr Farm Park for example, which was great for all ages and Glasgow is so close. Girvan is a nice wee place also and the Asda there is useful. Just watch out if using SatNav: it takes you down a very narrow farm track!
